Mother's Day is near, which makes me think of what a super mom I've got! I am sure all mothers have hidden talents in one way or another, and my mom is pretty good at handicrafts, even at her age of 86!

My mom just popped by the other day to present me with her latest DIY - another cute and pretty beaded handbag made by her.I love the Beaded Tot Bag which is small but enough room to hold a wallet, mobile phone, tissue holder, and a lip gloss. I thought the pattern of the beads is rather attractive. Such an eye-candy, don't you think so?This Red, White and Black Beaded Handbag is one of past DIY which I had shared on Facebook earlier. Mom had some left-over beads and she decided to add on a handphone pouch in case I wanna take a stroll in my vicinity without having the need to carry a bag.How about this Crystal Bead Bag in a classy shade of gold? Mom is very detailed and would always add a pocket inside the handbag, but this has two - One pocket for my #HelloKitty Mint Box, and the other for my mobile phone!Remember this work-in-progress beaded base photo which I had posted here some time back? Well, it has been completed!Check out how elegant the handbag turned out! It is definitely one of my favourite pieces with the stunning combination of colours. It is as good as a designer handbag, and I think it is priceless!She also made items like these fabulous Beaded Watermelon Tissue Boxes, and Hello Kitty Tissue Boxes! Pretty amazing, huh?Do you like this sweet card holder with a pair of lovely swans?I was told that this mobile phone strap is the hardest to make. The beads are so tiny that you would require a special 2-head needle to string them together! Mom took about a month just to make this!I was exhilarated when mom brought me these DIY Crystal Bead Oranges during the Chinese New Year. These décor pieces are simply adorable, and visitors during CNY were totally captivated by their sparkling beauty.Well, which is your favourite piece? Do you do beads craft too?
